Zuercher Technologies to Introduce New Field Ops App at APCO

August 11, 2017

SIOUX FALLS, SD (August 11, 2017) – Smartphones can become powerful tools for public safety with a new mobile application designed to give responders and their command staff critical information and an easy way to collect evidence in the field. Zuercher Technologies will be demonstrating this innovative mobile application, Field Ops at the 2017 APCO Conference in Denver, CO on August 13-18.

Field Ops takes public safety apps to the next level, having been designed with the actual work of public safety users in mind. First responders and their supervisory staff can view call for service data, including comments from dispatch, alerts, and assigned units, plus see it all on an integrated map. Responders in the field can use Field Ops to collect photos, video, and notes, with easy upload to case files. The app is secure, CJIS compliant, and yet as convenient and effective as the apps that most smartphone and tablet users access every day.

“We’re pleased to be able to show Field Ops to attendees at APCO. Our new mobile application is easy to deploy and administrate, yet provides a secure way for our customer agencies to use the devices they already carry in the field—smartphones and tablets—to enhance their work. The situational awareness and time savings that Field Ops can provide improves safety and frees up responders to be even more effective in the field.”
