Zuercher CAD+911 Brings Seamless Integration Efficiencies to Grant Parish

March 9, 2018

SIOUX FALLS, SD (March 9, 2018) – Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana is the first agency to go live with Zuercher CAD+911, an innovative solution that brings together Zuercher CAD and Zuercher 911 for time savings and interoperability.

Key Facts:
• After a nationwide search, Grant Parish selected Zuercher CAD+911 because of the quality of the product. The north central Louisiana agency has been using Zuercher CAD, as part of a full Zuercher Suite software system, since 2013. Zuercher CAD+911 has allowed for seamless integration of crucial call and incident data beyond just location information.
• Zuercher CAD+911 is superior to standalone CAD and 9-1-1 products because of the way call taking and dispatching functions converge. The two systems are truly integrated, allowing dispatchers to see call and location data from their Zuercher CAD system displayed on the 9-1-1 call screen. Dispatchers can rebid from Zuercher CAD and outbound dial directly from CAD.
• The agency provides a dispatch center, jail, law enforcement, and other public safety services for the 22,300 residents of their 665 square-mile jurisdiction. The Grant Parish PSAP dispatches for the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office, in addition to six police departments and seven fire departments.
• Grant Parish is using Zuercher CAD+911 to present information to dispatchers faster and reduce redundant data entry. The agency also can now use Zuercher Suite’s robust report generator to easily generate meaningful reports with call information from their 9-1-1 database.

Supporting Quotes:
Sheriff Steven McCain, Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office

“When we first implemented Zuercher CAD four years ago, we started saving time, cutting at least 35 to 40 seconds from every call. Now the Zuercher CAD+911 is saving even more time in the dispatch center. We deal with some of the same people over and over. When the call comes in to 9-1-1, it automatically populates the fields with the name or address information. Dispatchers don’t waste time typing that information in again. It’s the quality of the product that really makes the difference. I tell anyone that asks, this is the best software on the market today for law enforcement.”
