Warrants
The Zuercher Technologies Warrants module will simplify the tracking of documents and fees, provide automatic system-wide alerts, and track service attempts-all in an easy to use, streamlined environment.
Status Tracking
Agencies big or small can have thousands of warrants to track at any one time. ledsSuite’s Warrants module makes this task simple and provides lists that can tell you at a glance which warrants are active, served, cleared, pending, or recalled. Information can be easily searched and verified by a number of different fields, such as address or warrant number.
Using ledsReporting, you can also generate customized reports of whatever warrant data you need. Reports can be sorted or filtered using any number of fields, such as a date range or status of the warrant. Whether you need the reports on a reoccurring basis or run on the spur of the moment, they are easy to set up and utilize.
Like all modules within ledsSuite, access to enter or change data on warrants can be restricted by user or group. Each warrant also has a log that records all modifications that have been made to it, from a simple address update to an attempt to serve the warrant. Notes can also be entered, giving your agency clear records of everything that has occurred in relation to each warrant.
Documents and other files can also be attached to warrants. Original statements or tickets are commonly scanned and attached to the warrant. Whoever pulls up the warrant then has all the information they need without having to consult a paper file or search through logs.
Configurable Workflow
The Warrants module can be configured to follow your agency’s already established workflow. Instead of each person having to remember everything pertaining to the warrant process, they can simply follow the steps on screen. Fields can be set up as “required” so that no important information is skipped and nothing is forgotten. If you are interrupted while working on a warrant, ledsSuite saves where you are in the process so you can return to the same spot anytime to finish it rather than starting the whole process over.
Financial Tracking
ledsSuite makes tracking the bond amounts and all applicable fees very easy. Fees can be set up to be added to certain warrants automatically and transferred to the correct account.
Automatic Alerts
Each time data about a person is entered in to any part of ledsSuite, the system links the information to a master name file for that individual. Master name files contain a wealth of information, from distinguishing physical attributes like scars or tattoos to known associates, aliases, and MOs. No matter what part of ledsSuite you may be using, if you access a master name file of a person with an outstanding warrant, ledsSuite will notify you of the pending warrant. This system-wide communication helps to capture every possible opportunity to serve warrants, make an arrest, or prepare officers that are responding to a call for service.
State Interfaces
Many warrants require reporting to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) or another database. ledsSuite has established interfaces with these systems so that you do not have to re-enter information into another database. Once the data has been entered into the Warrants module, it can be automatically transmitted, saving officers time by eliminating redundant data entry.
