St. Paul Police Department Moves to Zuercher Records Software System

SIOUX FALLS, SD (November 27, 2017) – The St. Paul Police Department of Minnesota has selected Zuercher Records to replace an outdated records management system. The agency will save time and gain operational and investigative efficiencies by joining an established regional RMS provided by Zuercher Technologies that is used by four other agencies that serve the Twin Cities area.

• The St. Paul Police Department is a modern, urban agency that serves Minnesota’s capital city, which has a population of more than 300,000. The department employs more than 600 sworn officers who respond to nearly 300,000 calls for service each year.
• Zuercher Records will provide the police department with a contemporary system that is fully configured to the unique needs of the agency. The department will eliminate unnecessary paperwork and track data within an integrated system using Zuercher’s Custom Forms and Custom Modules. The system will include mobile records access for officers and administration software.
• The St. Paul Police Department will join a county-wide regional RMS that is hosted by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and includes the Mounds View Police Department, New Brighton Police Department, and Maplewood Police Department. Since going live in 2015, the agencies have made data sharing and cooperative policing efforts easier through Zuercher Records’ one application, one database, and one user interface with a centralized, easy-to-search master records database.
• As the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center also implements a Zuercher Jail system, the St. Paul Police Department and all of the agencies on the shared RMS will speed up their arrest and jail booking processes by automatically pulling in data from arrest reports and warrants in Zuercher Records.
