Information about crimes investigated by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan is now available on the crime data website Crimemapping.com. The website, which is free to use, shows criminal activity reports by where they happened. Reports can be looked up by agency or by a location entered by the user and can be filtered by type of crime and time frame.

St. Matthews Police in Kentucky say CrimeMapping helps improve communication with the community. "The crime mapping program will help us determine where crime is occurring but it will also help the community see where there are pockets of problems, and see where crime is occurring,” said Maj.
