Software Developer

We're looking for several talented software developers to join our team. You'll help us continue building and improving our suite of public safety software products and will have a significant voice in everything from technical to feature decisions. You'll be working on software used in a mission critical setting in 911 dispatch centers and law enforcement agencies and will help us on our mission to improve the quality of software available in this industry.

Rather than looking for experience with a specific technology, we're looking for people with the proven ability to learn what they need to accomplish the task at hand. Right now we use Python, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Django, Javascript, C++, Qt, and .NET (C#), among other things, but this is always changing.

Requirements

  • Very strong coding skills and something to show for them (previous work, open source project, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • BS/MS in CS or equivalent experience
  • Permanent legal right to work in the U.S.
  • This is a full time position at our Sioux Falls, SD office
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Django, Javascript, C++, Linux, and/or Qt are a bonus
