QA and Testing Specialist

We are looking to hire a software quality assurance and testing specialist to aid in our software development efforts for our suite of public safety software products. You will develop and run automatic test scripts, write test plans, and create and execute test cases. You will analyze and troubleshoot issues and provide input to the development team. You will also perform manual and usability testing to ensure that the features and fixes included in each software update meet specifications and conform to high standards of functionality and usability. As your skill set allows, there is room in this position to take on software development duties.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Permanent legal right to work in the U.S.
• Previous experience demonstrates ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
• Degree in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience in these areas
• Previous experience in software development or quality assurance testing
